Voters are mad and aren’t going to take it anymore.
Voters are mad!
It is obvious voters are mad. You can see it in presidential politics, state politics and even in some local races.
In the presidential race voter are mad on both the Republican and Democrat sides. On the Republican side voters are bitter toward establishment Republicans who are quick to cave in and acquiesce to the liberal agenda. Establishment candidates in the presidential race aren’t doing well.
There is an anti-incumbent sentiment out there. People who have gone door-to-door campaigning can tell you about the anger toward incumbent politicians who make promises and then spend their time deceiving the voters.
Canvassers circulating term limits petitions can tell you how quickly people sign the petitions because of the deceiving, conniving way politicians stuck in longer term limits for themselves in what was sold as ethics legislation.
And then the unheard was announced! It is not just voters who are mad. Several Republican candidates are mad enough to hold a joint press conference to condemn Republican Governor Hutchinson’s misrepresentation of Obamacare Medicaid Expansion as not being Obamacare. The Governor has been using tortured words to try to give cover to incumbents who adopted or helped continue Obamacare Medicaid Expansion and who he expects to support his version of Obamacare Medicaid Expansion. (The press conference is Noon, Friday, February 19, 2016 in the Bentonville Square.)
Does this make you mad? The Governor chose to rename Arkansas’ Obamacare Medicaid Expansion as “Arkansas Works” but the state CANNOT MAKE EVEN ONE ENROLLEE WORK!
I don’t know what to tell you about the lies and broken promises that so many politicians embrace. All I can say is that you won’t be better off by just giving up and not voting. I hope you will still vote.
THE PRIMARY IS MARCH 1 AND EARLY VOTING HAS STARTED.
