It is interesting that the Conduit organizations are being more frequently mentioned and maligned in the liberal media these days. It is also not surprising that few (if any) reporters/journalists/democrat operatives have ever attempted to inquire concerning our motives and often even our positions. It is so much easier on them to assume, besmirch, and ridicule opposition to their personal agendas than to debate it. A very similar thing has happened to the Tea Party movement over the past years where they are assumed unreasonable, ignorant, and racist although there is not a hint of that in their positions or actions. It is much easier to marginalize than do the actual work of investigating or understanding before the ink flies!
We can understand and accept differences on policy, if the positions are understood and communicated fairly, and we can accept ownership of a position if those who criticize make any attempt to understand it. It seems these days that if you are against “government solutions” then you are against solutions–period! Maybe it is because if you only hear one side and criticism of anyone against that, those consumers of news will assume there is no other valid opinion. Shame on all of those partisan imposters.
